Typical Tour – Pending Guests Requests & Weather Conditions

Day 1

– Arrive at Pension Heidi Zwiesel about 4pm.
– Welcome Drink and Snaps testing, Meet and Greet with other guests.
– Evening Meal at a local restaraunt.


Day 2

– Breakfast between 8.00-9.15 am
– Leave at 9.25 for our first day of shooting, Wild Horses, Aurochs, Wolfs and Lynx.
– National Park Visitor Center for lunch or coffee & cake.
– Photographing Lynx
– Optional – Trip to the Czech Border for Lunch
– Return to Pension Heidi Zwiesel
– Evening meal at a local restaraunt
– Optional – Return to Pension and review the days photography


Day 3

– Breakfast between 7.30-8.15 am
– Leave at 8.25 for our second day of shooting, Lynx, Wolfs, Bears, Otter, Elk, Wild Cat, Birds of Prey amongst many others.
– Visit to the Visitor Center for lunch or Coffee & Cake.
– Optional – A walk on Europes tallest tree top walkway.
– Evening meal out at a local restaraunt
– Optional – Return to Pension Heidi Zwiesel and review the days photography


Day 4

Return to wildlife park of your choice


– Evening meal out at a local restaurant
– Optional – Return to Pension Heidi Zwiesel and review the 3 best photos of your trip.
– Beer & Snaps


Day 5

8.00 – 9.30 Breakfast
Return journey home at leisure



































Accommodation – Pension Heidi Zwiesel

Your accommodation will be in a double room with balcony or terrace, with Private WC and Shower, all rooms at Pension Heidi have free WiFi.



Pension Heidi has a honesty bar where we have wines, local beers & snaps, tea, coffee & hot chocolate available 24 Hrs.

Breakfast is a full breakfast buffet with Cereals, Yoghurts, Meats, Cheeses, Rolls, Cos saints, Juices, Eggs, Tea & Coffee etc.

Lunch – You may request a paced lunch but most places will have a small cafe or restaraunt

Evening Meals – This is an additional cost and up to the individual but we will visit varied local restaurants in the evening, you will find these rather cheap and good quality in Bayerischer Wald, if you do not wish to go out we can always make you a soup, pizza or sandwiches in the pension.





Tele and/or Super Telephoto zoom lens 300mm or more is recommended (400mm for full frame cameras)

Fully charged battery, Charger and Spare Batteries.

Plenty of Patience; while we cannot guarantee sighting of the animals as the enclosures are large, it is certainly not a zoo and it can therefore sometimes take a while for the animals to show themselves.


Mitts that have finger ends that you can cover up as, it can get cold waiting.
